The 500px app was facing decreased download rates even though the app interface was redesigned with new robust features introduced. I redesigned all the app screens for App Store and Google Play, aiming to increase the download rates through informative and eye-catching visuals.

I used the brand color sparingly to call out the keywords highlighting 500px’s app features. The actual interfaces of the app were the focal points of each screen considering the requirements from App Store and Google Play. Since 500px is a photography platform, I picked the beautiful photographs on 500px platform to communicate the core service of 500px.

The 500px app download rate increased 1% with a total of 8000 downloads after merely two weeks of the release of the new screens.
