Overview
After 500px relaunched several new products and features, the existing Membership Page no longer effectively showcased the updated offerings. I collaborated closely with the product designer to lead a redesign that communicates the value of the new membership tiers, highlights features, and creates a visually engaging marketing experience while staying true to the brand identity.
The Problems
The old page did not clearly present the new product offerings or their benefits.
The visual hierarchy and layout made it difficult for users to compare membership tiers and understand the features.
Existing marketing graphic on the page were generic and didn’t leverage the new brand design or showcase the product in an engaging way.
My Approach
Research & Analysis – Reviewed the current membership page, competitor pages, and user feedback to identify pain points and opportunities.
Collaboration – Worked hand-in-hand with the product designer to align user experience and marketing goals.
Brand Alignment – Ensured all redesign elements adhered to the 500px brand guide, including color palette, typography, and iconography, maintaining consistency across the platform.
Information Architecture & Layout – Applied a clear grid system to create a hierarchy of information, making it easy for users to compare tiers and features at a glance.
Custom Graphics & Marketing Appeal – Designed engaging visuals to highlight new products and features, incorporating iconography, illustrative elements, and product imagery to make benefits tangible.
Iterative Design – Worked through multiple iterations, balancing marketing appeal with functional clarity and brand consistency.
