My Role

Lead Brand & Graphic Designer

My Contribution

1. Creative Direction

  • Led the visual direction for the full campaign, establishing the look-and-feel across all touchpoints.

  • Built a cohesive system balancing bold imagery, educational clarity, and 500px’s brand identity.

2. E-Guide Design (43 pages)

  • Designed the full 43-page E-guide, including layout, typography, pacing, image selection, and visual storytelling.

  • Ensured the educational content remained engaging, readable, and consistent with 500px’s tone.

  • Prepared optimized digital files for distribution across multiple platforms and devices.

3. Campaign Collateral

Designed all promotional assets to support the campaign launch and ongoing engagement, including:

  • Website homepage and in-product banners

  • Blog and editorial graphics

  • Social media assets (static, motion, and story formats)

  • Email marketing graphics

  • Display ads and promotional banners

Every asset followed the campaign’s visual identity system, ensuring strong cohesion and high visibility across marketing channels.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Worked with the marketing, editorial, and content teams to align messaging and visuals.

  • Ensured the E-guide and all promotional materials worked seamlessly within 500px’s broader brand ecosystem.

Outcome

The Wildlife Photography Campaign elevated awareness of wildlife subjects on the platform and encouraged photographers to refine their craft. The E-guide became a valuable educational resource, while the cohesive visual identity strengthened engagement across blogs, social media, email, and the 500px ecosystem.

Selected pages from the 43-page E-guide are displayed below.
